Update on Severe Threat

The Storm Prediction Severe has a small area over the corners of Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi at a moderate risk for severe storms on Friday.

For southeast Texas, new storms are approaching from the southwest (but they are also weakening)...most active areas will be Matagorda and Brazoria Counties this evening.

A few more storms could pop during the 1st half of the day on Friday. But greatest risk will be to the east of southeast Texas.
