Local and Gulf Weather/New Poll/Another Wedding Story

HURRICANES AND WEATHER
Still watching an area of low pressure -- now in the eastern Gulf...it is not a tropical storm but you just never know. If nothing else it will produce rain along it's path. Models indicate a westward track...still don't know if it will make it to Texas. But I would say that given the steering environment, chances are good...maybe Coastal Bend will get a nice drink of water. Stay tuned.

On Thursday, there will be scattered storms over the southeast and from the southwest to the Great Lakes. Most highs will be in the 70s an 80s, warmer in the desert southwest. Northern tier and west coast will have highs in the 60s.

Houston, humidity and temperatures will climb on Thursday. Depending on what system in Gulf does, there could be rain on and off starting this weekend. Stay tuned.

SPANISH WORD OF THE DAY
Let's do warranty or garantía, pronounced gar-rahn-TEE-ah. Do you know a good service for home garantía? See AND MORE section for more details.

AND MORE
We fixed our leaky coil but with the house now 13 years old, we are looking into a home warranty. If you know of any good ones, please let me know. And with that, I am taking another stab at polling...this one is about home warranties and you can choose more than one answer. Have fun!

I posted another wedding photo--this one of Sarah in her roll as flower girl. She is so funny...when she got to the front of the church, there was a lull in the activity and she said "and Action". There were smiles all around.

Have a happy Thursday everyone!
