Update on Tornado/Severe Threat

Storms in central TX as of 5 pm this Friday evening are prompting Tornado Warnings. The northern half of southeast TX is now under a Tornado Watch until 8 am this Wed. evening. The watch means conditions are favorable for storms which produce tornadoes. The southern half is not included in the watch because the warm frontal boundary has moved to the north of Houston.

Another round of severe weather is likely on Thursday (mainly afternoon into early evening). This one has the potential to have more widespread and more southern impacts.

I'll update as necessary.
