Happy Friday everyone -
Storm Prediction Center has placed a somewhat circular area from east Texas across northern Louisiana and southern Arkansas into eastern Mississippi at a moderate risk for severe weather through 6 am Saturday.
There could be supercell storms which produce tornadoes and damaging winds as well as large hail. Threat for east Texas will be in the early to mid-afternoon. Threat for locations further east will be into the evening hours.
Look for winds to pick up and temperatures to drop after the front passes. Many areas will be under wind advisories.
